How Higher Ground Papa Taumata collects, stores, uses and shares your personal information in relation to our website

The Privacy Act 1993 requires us to tell you certain things about the personal information we need to carry out our functions. This is where we explain our privacy practices and why you can trust us to handle your information with care and respect.

Higher Ground Papa Taumata collects personal information you have shared through our website, including information about your Name and Contact information. We collect your personal information in order to get in touch with you and discuss our services, share updates and/or facilitate support.

Providing some information is optional. If you choose not to enter your contact information, we'll be unable to make contact with you.

We keep your information safe by storing in password protected files and only allowing the appropriate staff to access it.

You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong. Information we collect

We only collect the personal information you choose to give us, and you can opt out of general communication activities i.e. e-Newsletters, at any time.

We also collect the following information about your use of our website (though please note we make no efforts to associate this with your identity):

  • The search terms you used
  • The pages you accessed on our website and the links you clicked on
  • The date and time you visited the site
  • The referring site (if any) through which you clicked to our website
  • Your operating system (such as Windows 10)

We also collect aggregated data. This information is generated by our systems as they track traffic through our sites. This information does not personally identify you and is not linked to the personal data and information that you may have provided.

These services have their own privacy statements which are independent of Higher Ground Papa Taumata. They do not have any access to the personal information we hold on our systems.
